Ripples on the Lake

Summer 2010

The annual meeting was held at the
Lakeville Fire House on Saturday July 17th.
Thirty eight lots were represented.
It was good to see several new faces.
The meeting went smoothly and there didn’t
seem to be any MAJOR concerns.
I guess the majority of the community is pleased
with the board’s performance. It was a loss
for us to see Bob Fredericks step down as president.
A special thanks to him and Vera
for their community service.
Elections were held and Jim Martin was reelected
and Rich Winkler voted in as a new member.
The need for security cameras was discussed,
and a committee was formed to get information
on the best system to meet our needs.
The board will gather all the information
and make a decision. The new ACC gave
a report noting that there are several lot owners
who are not maintaining their properties.
Letters have been sent out and fines
will follow if the problem is not resolved.
I hope everyone is having a great summer
and enjoying the lake.

NOTES FROM THE BOARD

Another reminder from the ACC. –
If you have ANY doubt about work you
are doing on your property, PLEASE call
one of the ACC members BEFORE
starting the work. They would rather give you
the OK than have to tell you what you are doing
is not in compliance with the community rules.
Remember, the ACC is here to protect the community.
After the annual meeting the board had a special
meeting to decide positions. This is the result:
        President      Jim Martin
           V.P.             Rich Winkler
      Secretary       Bob Essex
      Treasurer       Ed  Moen
                 Director        Brian McCarthy
The board is looking forward to serving
the community and will greatly appreciate
the cooperation of all members.

Please make sure all your boats have
the necessary sticker and metal tag.
If you walk your dog around the community,
PICK UP all deposits. The front of other people’s
property is not your pet’s bathroom!
Remember to clean up after using the common area.
RESPECT THE 15 MPH SPEED LIMIT !!!!!
